Run Dunner, Dune Runner
The return of the little green army guy.
I love this little thing. It’s like a mini transforming Master Chief (and I say that a lot in this review). Dune Runner shares the same alt mode as Allspark Power Landmine, and he’s GREEN!! Yes, being green is a big deal. Be being lavender is a bigger deal. So far not too many lavender Autobots.
-Vehicle mode-
Dune Runner has the same vehicle as the Allspark power Landmine, a heavily armed little go-cart buggy.
Dune Runner sports the NEST logo on his sides.
Comparison with the DX class Landmine from the Allspark Power sub-line. A few differences here and there but the same basic vehicle.
-Transformation-
(Dream to be of stars….. for great greatness….)
-Bot mode-
He’s channeling a strong Master Chief vibe.
Right down to the helmet.
Decent range of motion.
“Gett’em little buddy”
-Score-
AESTHETICS: 4.5 -He looks like Master Chief, whats not to love. Great proportions, and a perfect counterpart to Landmine.QUALITY: 4.5 -Nothing fall off, everything is nice an super tight. The paint apps are clean. The shoulder guns have a few bends to them. POSEABILITY: 3.5 -Reasonably articulated for a little guy, the panels and guns on the arms do restrict movement. TRANSFORMATION: 4.5 -Nicely done for a scout class, really feels more like a DX. TOY CRACK: 5 -(Due to a lack of features in the scout class toys, the “Features” score will be replaced by the “Toy crack” score from the legends class.) It’s in your hand before you’ve even had a chance to think about it. OVERALL: 4.5 -The best ROTF Scout class to date. Great looks, and a great transformation. Oh, and he looks like Master Chief.
