On a Rampage.
Sadly the deluxe and voyager Construticons will not combine. The Devastator set will have six of the seven Constructicons, and they will only transform in to vehicle modes and combine to make one lousy look’n Devastator. Not robot modes. There will be a Japanese set made by Taka-Tomy that will have all seven, and they will transform from vehicle to robot on top of being able to combine to form Devastator. The set will be Legends class size.
Now this is what a Decepticon needs to be. A huge wreck’n machine.
The dozer is loaded with detail.
The treads are rubber, but they don’t rotate.
The scoop doesn’t actually work. I had to disconnect it for this shot.
Here’s where thing take a turn for the strange. It’s a unique look, and well, yeah unique.
Lawrdy! That’s a whole lata junk in yo trunk!
“ACTION!! SUSPENSE!! BAD PHOTOSHOP FILTERS!! This summer, one movie will have them all!”AESTHETICS: 3 -Alien space-crab robot-dozer is the vibe he gives off. Not really sure how accurate the toy is to the movie counterpart, but the dozer mode looks great. QUALITY: 3 -The scoop falls off very easily. POSEABILITY: 2.5 -No articulation at the elbows or wrists, the legs have a very limited range. TRANSFORMATION: 4 -Another well designed DX. Makes good use of the dozer parts in robot mode. FEATURES: 2.5 -Lame “Jackhammer” mode. So lame, I didn’t bother with a photo. Would have been nice if the treads actually moved. OVERALL: 3 -It’s not bad, I wanna like, but there are also reasons to not like it. Rampage looks so strange it’s cool, but also so strange that is stupid. The rubber treads are a nice touch, but they don’t move. Involved transformation, but again, looks cool/stupid. You’ll just have to make up your own minds on this one.
